Why does the wallpaper come untrimmed?

Untrimmed wallpaper is the traditional choice for premium wallcoverings, and it’s what most highend installers prefer. The selvage along each edge gives your installer the most control over the final result:

Seamless installation with the double-cut technique. Your installer overlaps two panels on the wall and cuts through both layers in a single pass. Because both edges come from the same cut, they meet perfectly, creating a nearly invisible seam.
Precise pattern matching. We print join marks on the selvage so your installer can see exactly where the pattern lines up from one panel to the next.
Adjusts to real walls. Walls are rarely perfectly straight. The extra margin lets your installer make small adjustments as they hang.
Added protection in shipping. If a roll is bumped or dropped on its end, the selvage takes the damage, not the printed design.

What are the dimensions of the wallpaper?

All of the wallpaper is sold by yard, and comes 27” wide trimmed / 30” wide untrimmed and 36” length wise.

Do you print ½ yards?

Unfortunately, we do not. Please round up to the nearest yard.

How Much Wallpaper Should I Order?

We recommend hiring a professional wallpaper installer as they are the best person to advise you on how much wallpaper to order for your space. Please ensure you order more wallpaper than you think, as we cannot guarantee dye lot consistency if additional wallpaper is needed of the same print. If you are between yardages, we advise you to round up.

What is the lead time for wallpaper?

Carly Home wallpaper is printed to order by a small family owned company and ships within 4-6 weeks from your order date.

How do I install wallpaper?

We recommend hiring a professional wallpaper installer. Paste the paper and then book for 5 minutes prior to installing on the wall. Every order ships with installation instructions.

Does the wallpaper come in one continuous piece?

Untrimmed wallpaper is produced in continuous rolls of up to 45 yards, and trimmed wallpaper in continuous rolls of up to 15 yards. If your order is longer than a single roll, it will arrive as multiple rolls. For example, a 60-yard untrimmed order would ship as one 45-yard roll and one 15-yard roll. We’re unable to accommodate specific cut length requests.
